Building a Business You Love: Mastering the P3 Mastery Method

Building a Business You Love: Mastering the P3 Mastery Method

If you haven't yet, I recommend you read this letter first before continuing.

How to Build a Truly Fulfilling Business: The 3 Keys to Happiness

If someone had told me a few years ago that they could help me turn any of my hobbies into a business idea potentially worth millions of dollars, I would have found it really hard to believe.

It's like claiming to have discovered a magical unicorn or a recipe for turning broccoli into candy.

Because of this, a lot of people ask me the same question, How?

Today you take the first step to not only making a lot of money but also finding happiness and joy.

This is the step-by-step system I used to turn passion into profit.

    The P3 Mastery Method!

Step 1: Find What You Love (Passion):

Every person has the right to do what they love.

Way too often, I see people like my past self who follow random business models trying to get rich just to feel sad and unfulfilled.

That's why it's important that your business's core focus be your happiness and freedom. Everything else comes second.

Write down 10 passion you have. If you don't have 10 passions, then write down your favorite activities and topics.

These could be hobbies, activities, or interests that make you feel alive and happy.

    For example, it could be:

    • Video games
    • Baking
    • Sense of Freedom
    • Philosophy Self-actualization

Whatever you love, put it down, no matter how stupid you think it is.

Step 2: Discover Your Skills (Pride):

Identify 10 things that you are good at and proud of.

These are skills or talents that you have developed over time or that have come naturally to you.

    They can have abilities like:

    • Problem-solving
    • Writing
    • Painting
    • Coding
    • Organizing.

I find that this is the hardest one because we tend to sell ourselves short, so here's a tip:

Ask your friends and family what you're good at. You may be surprised by what they say.

The reason I do this is because people love to do things they are good at; it makes them feel in control.

Gone are the days when your boss would make you do random shit you hated. Now do what you like to do.

    Step 3: Solve Problems (Purpose):

Write 10 problems or challenges that you deeply care about solving.

These problems should align with your values and reflect the positive impact you want to make in the world.

It could be an issue like:

    • Pollution
    • Access to education
    • Animal welfare
    • Promoting mental health

This, I believe, is the most important because you need to feel like you are making a difference in the world, not just for the world but for yourself as well.

You want to feel needed, so do something you feel like you need to do.

    Step 4: Mix and Match:

Randomly select one item from each category (passion, pride, and purpose).

You can use 10-sided dice or a random number generator.

For example, you might randomly choose "playing video games" from passion, "writing" from pride, and "promoting mental health" from purpose as your combination.

    Step 5: Generate Business Ideas:

Using the combination you created, brainstorm business ideas that align with your passions, skills, and purpose.

Think about how you can utilize your love for video games, writing skills, and commitment to mental health to create a unique business idea.

For instance, you could develop a mobile app that promotes mental well-being through interactive gaming and engaging written content.

    Not a bad idea!

Do this 10 times, each time coming up with a different business, and pick your top 5.

    Products and Services

First we think about what is possible. Now we make sure they're practical.

We should have 10 passion-based businesses ideas.

But we need to brainstorm ideas for products and services we can offer.

First, let's think about the different types of things you can provide to your customers:

    Physical Products:

Think about tangible items related to your business idea that you could sell.

    These can include:

    • Manufactured
    • Products
    • Fashion
    • Books
    • Posters
    • Accessories

    Example:

    • Merchandise like gaming accessories
    • Stress-relief toys
    • Mental health journals

    Digital Products:

Consider digital products that can be accessed online.

    These can include:

    • Stock Video/Images
    • Apps
    • Template
    • Presets
    • Games
    • E-books
    • Websites

    Example:

    • E-book on mental health tips for gamers
    • App with guided meditation sessions
    • Blog offering advice on maintaining mental well-being while gaming.

    Service-based Projects:

Think of services you can offer to support your business idea.

    These can include:

    • Coaching
    • Groups
    • Workshops
    • Courses
    • Done for you (anything)
    • Done with you (side by side).

    Example:

    • Coaching sessions on mental health and gaming balance
    • Workshops on self-care strategies for gamers
    • Consulting services to game developers on integrating mental health features into their games.

Now, take your top 5 business ideas from before and come up with 3 physical, digital, and service-based products for each of these 3 categories.

    Conclusion

Once you've done this for all five ideas, choose your top 3 ideas. These are the ones you'll focus on moving forward.

I'm not going to lie to you; this is only the beginning.

The hard part comes next: actually building the business, validating your idea further, and improving it based on the feedback you get.

But you can rest easy now that you have not only come up with a million-dollar business idea, but you did it using your own passions.

No more following what others say you should do; you took action and are going to make a business that you are proud to call your own.

A future of happiness, freedom, and purpose awaits you. I can't wait to see what you do!
